Thank you for joining me, I can't wait to see what you create! Here is a breakdown of how I create these designs:
1. Using your larger brush, paint the leaves with your large brush! Line up the point of your brush with the point of the leaf. Do not worry if you don't catch them all, we can always paint them later. Paint any little curly q's or stems with your smallest brush.
2. While those dry, paint your vase! If you're looking for design ideas, look up your favorite vase or check out my Pinterest board!
3. Using your larger brush, paint a color wash over the flowers, taking care not to touch wet paint to wet paint. Use a lot of water and a teeny bit of paint so it's nice and light!
4. Using your smallest brush, trace the squiggly lines on the petals. Use a lot of paint, and a teeny bit of water. More concentrated = darker.
6. Using your larger brush and water, dab over the squiggly lines and give them a light massage to help them blend.
