6/16 Young Artist Series - Flower Fairies

Step into a whimsical world of creativity in this charming “Flower Fairies” workshop for kids ages 8–12! Using real dried flowers and pressed botanicals, students will create imaginative fairy-inspired portraits by designing floral “dresses” and gowns directly on paper. Once their flowers are arranged and glued into place, kids will bring their characters to life by drawing faces, hairstyles, wings, and other magical details around them.

This class blends nature, storytelling, and illustration into a project that feels both artistic and playful. Each piece will be completely unique, encouraging kids to experiment with color, texture, and personality while creating artwork that looks beautiful enough to frame. Perfect for imaginative kiddos who love flowers, fairies, and getting creative with mixed materials!

Class size is intentionally capped at 6 students to create a relaxed, hands-on experience. Classes will take place in my dining room and kitchen studio in South Wheaton, near Arrowhead Golf Club. Because spots tend to fill quickly, I recommend booking groups together when possible.

The week before the event, I will email parents with my address, parking information, and any additional details.

From time to time, I may photograph or film student artwork or close-up shots of hands creating for use on my website, social media, or marketing materials. I will never photograph children’s faces, as I strongly value children’s privacy. By registering for this class, you agree to these terms
