Join me for a nature-inspired block printing workshop for kids ages 10–12! Students will explore the art of linocut printmaking using a curated collection of bug and floral designs, then create their own beautiful prints in sage green, Prussian blue, or classic black ink. From dragonflies and beetles to wildflowers and garden blooms, each piece will have its own unique personality and charm.

Block printing is a centuries-old art form that involves transferring ink from a carved design onto paper by hand. During class, kids will learn the basics of the printmaking process and leave with a collection of striking handmade prints. This workshop is perfect for creative kids who enjoy working with their hands and trying something a little different from traditional crafts.

Class size is intentionally capped at 6 students to create a relaxed, hands-on experience. Classes will take place in my dining room and kitchen studio in South Wheaton, near Arrowhead Golf Club. Because spots tend to fill quickly, I recommend booking groups together when possible.

The week before the event, I will email parents with my address, parking information, and any additional details.

From time to time, I may photograph or film student artwork or close-up shots of hands creating for use on my website, social media, or marketing materials. I will never photograph children’s faces, as I strongly value children’s privacy. By registering for this class, you agree to these terms
